Current Plans

Wild Rumpus is under construction by the skilled yacht masters in Cape Town, South Africa.  Our 53' luxury catamaran is designed to offer the rare combination of great sailing ability, and plush accommodations-- all while laid out as a perfect vacation refuge.  The powerful sailplan, thoughtful layout, gourmet galley and skilled crew guarantee a vacation experience you will remember forever.

Wild Rumpus will be delivered in July, 2022.  After a shakedown cruise, Wild Rumpus will head northwest.   The first stop will be a visit to St. Helena, a remote south Atlantic island known as the final(ish) resting place of Napoleon (until France moved his body in 1840).  From St. Helena, Wild Rumpus will cross the equator on its way to Fernando de Norohna, a Brazilian resort town, for a bit of land based rest and relaxation.  Next stop, Devil's Island (a former notorious penal colony) in French Guyana.  And finally, Wild Rumpus will set sail for Grenada, where it will remain during storm seasons.   (In the maritime tradition, the crew will earn three tattoos for this crossing: shellback, a single swallow, and an anchor.)

Once Wild Rumpus is at home in the Caribbean Sea, it will  roam from Grenada to the U.S. and British Virgin Islands offering only a few of the luckiest travelers an unparalleled Caribbean vacation.
